There were a total of 33 contestants who participated in the competition, and the final round was all women. The SA State Winner, Francoise Finlayson, emerged victorious.

The final is set to take place on June 24th from 10 am. Each player will compete in two games, and the top 16 scores will advance to the final round. In the final round, the 16 players will compete in one game, and the winners will move on to the final 4. From there, the state champion will be determined.
How the day will proceed
We will provide plenty of tables and CATAN sets for 4-player games. We trust your gaming skills to manage the scoring and game organization. We will also be available to assist with these tasks and keep track of scores. Our aim is to finish this section of the event by 4 pm so that the final 16 can begin and conclude with the end game by 8pm. We hope to see you all here on the day and good luck!
The State Championship Winner will win a guaranteed seat at the 2023 CATAN Australia
National Championship Tournament, to be held on 19 August 2023 at Eastlake Football
Club in Canberra, ACT.
The 2023 CATAN Australia National Champion will be sent to the 2024 CATAN World
Championship, location and dates TBD.
